Project description: Wineberry is an invasive plant that is covering and pushing out native plants in an important wildlife habitat at the Woodland Beach Wildlife Area. This is a unique, rich woods habitat that is uncommon on Delaware’s Coastal Plain and harbors a variety of special plants. Join us as we work to remove the invasive wineberry and restore the native plants in this great habitat!

What to bring/wear: Work gloves, hand saws and loppers will be provided but volunteers may also bring their own.
