On July 1, John conquered Half Dome in Yosemite National Park, proudly wearing his Troop 2 Class B uniform.

Half Dome is a granite dome that rises more than 4,700 feet above the valley floor at the eastern end of Yosemite Valley and is Yosemite’s most famous rock formation. Hikers climb Half Dome using a cable route, rising 4,800 feet over 8.2 miles.

This is an arduous climb and we congratulate John on his achievement!
