Dr. Gregory sent along this great picture of fireworks celebrating the opening of Akridge Scout Reservation.

21 scouts and 10 adults from Troop 2 participated in the inaugural Jamboree at the new Akridge Scout Reservation.

Troop 2’s achievements:

• 1st place in Geocaching
• 1st AND 2nd place in the Brownsea Patrol Competition
• Helped in the effort to plant 7,000 trees
• Ate 10 dozen cookies and a lot of meatballs 🙂

Thanks to all of the adult leaders who pitched in on the trip, and special thanks and congratulations to Mr. Vander Decker who chaired the event for Del-Mar-Va Council.
