Troop 2 follows Del-Mar-Va Council regulations regarding Scout uniforms.
Scouts who have attained the rank of Eagle may wear the Eagle bolo and/or the BSA leather belt with buckle.
The adult leaders will wear the same uniform as the Scouts for all Troop functions.
Class A
Scouts are to be in Class A Uniform (complete Scout uniform including long pants or shorts, shirt with appropriate troop patches and rank sewn on**, red neckerchief, neckerchief slide, scout socks, scout hat, and scout belt) for all meetings, special activities, and trips. Class A uniforms are to be worn for arrival to any BSA Scout reservation. Troop 2 almost always travels in Class A on their weekend trips.
**See the BSA Uniform Inspections Sheet for correct placement of insignia.
Class B
The Class B Uniform is worn on summer camping trips. The Class B uniform is the red Scout “golf” shirt, scout pants or shorts, scout socks, and sneakers or shoes.
The Modified Class B Uniform may be worn for summer meetings only. This uniform consists of the red Scout polo shirt, with any shorts, socks and shoes.
Class C
Troop 2 has used a variety of Class C shirts, including customized t-shirts and sport shirts. Check with troop leadership to see what the current Class C is, and when it is worn.
Uniform Inspection
Uniform inspection is part of the weekly troop meetings, and points earned by each patrol count toward the monthly awarding of the Honor Patrol trophy.
